Kempley Parish Council holds meetings monthly on the first Tuesday of the month. The meetings are held in the village hall at 7:30pm. We welcome members from the parish to attend and the Council is happy to hear comments at the appropriate time on the agenda.
The role of the Parish Clerk is to organise meetings, give guidance on legislation and legal issues and to carry out the decisions made by the Council. The Clerk is an employee of the Council. Councillors are elected every four years.
The Council is funded by the precept which is collected by Forest of Dean District Council via council tax.
